Payton's first Christmas was very eventful and extremely busy! We started our trip on Saturday December 20th. We left Charleston around 1:30 and made it to Betsy's Christmas party, all the way in East Bend, just a little after 5:30. The Tahoe was packed - so full in fact that Bailey and Payton had to share the back seat - a first for the Webb family! The preparation was indeed stressful but once we were on the road there was no looking back! The hustle and bustle had started!
As I try to recap our busy week with many family and friends I will be using multiple postings...enjoy!
As I said, Saturday we arrived in East Bend to stay with Chad's family. Our schedule was full of activities. Saturday night we spent time at Betsy's for her annual Christmas party and then we stayed up late visiting with Allen, Chandra, Calyn and Carson at Meme and Pawpaw's. Payton was happy to be there! Sunday included church, the Webb and Doub family meal at Cathy's, the Christmas program at Mt. Pleasant UMC (where Payton played a baby in the adult play...and did great!), and then a trip to visit with Matthew, Katie and Jacob. It was there first time meeting Payton. Although Payton and Jacob are a year apart in age they seemed to enjoy playing together.
