....or to play putt-putt...whatever you prefer!
Payton tees off for the first time...and he missed! Once he hit the ball, he was very excited and ran after it to see where it went!
Tuesday night the Nanny turned into the Chef as well and made a delicious meal of chicken pie, corn, and broccoli. It was very good! Payton enjoyed the chicken pie as well and even had a second serving! After eating dinner, we rushed out the door to nearby Blackbeard's Cove for a friendly round of putt-putt. Payton may not be the next Tiger Woods! Maybe we should not count him out right away, but he didn't really seem to understand the rules of the game and got a little upset when we didn't allow him to hit his ball over and over and over or to throw his ball! Actually, it was a very fun night. We were hot and sweaty (extra sweaty due to chasing and holding Payton) and no one seemed to do too well on the scorecard...I blame that on Payton too! I think Chad and Chandra tied for 1st place.
The family plays putt-putt.
Carson gives Payton a little help hitting the ball...and it went it!
After his ball went in he was SO excited!
He didn't do too well after the first few holes and ended up watching the last few holes from his stroller. We'll be back to Blackbeard's eventually to work on his game!
He has been running around at home saying "golf" and using his bat to hit balls on the floor! Maybe there is a good golf game in his future after all!
