Chandra, Calyn, and Carson arrived on Sunday, August 2nd to spend the week with us. Chandra was Payton's volunteer Nanny for the week! She also watched Ella for the day on Monday. Calyn was very excited about helping with the two "babies" for the day! Chandra seemed to have had a pretty busy day with the two of them! This was the last day Payton and Ella saw each other until the 17th...I don't know how they made it without each other!!
We really enjoyed our time with Chandra, Calyn, and Carson and tried to squeeze in a few fun activities even though Chad and I had to work during the day.
On Monday, which was also Chad's birthday, we were lucky enough to sneak out of work a little early and head to the aquarium. Calyn and Carson had never been to our aquarium so they enjoyed seeing all the fish!

It was Shark Week at the aquarium....chomp!

After the aquarium we headed to California Dreaming for Chad's 31st birthday. We skipped the cheesecake because we had a tasty chocolate cake and ice cream waiting for us at home.
I bought Chad a balloon for his birthday mainly because Payton loves balloons and I thought he would enjoy having one at home! He did! He still bats the balloon around with his hands!

Unfortunately, we kept Payton up a little too late and he was not interested in cake or ice cream. He did enjoy a little the following night! We enjoyed spending Chad's birthday with the family.
