Hi Everyone!
I have been meaning to start a blog to provide updates for our family and friends for several months and finally...after a weekend in town, rather than on the road...I have made time for it! Our air conditioner is broken upstairs so its too hot to clean our bedroom and bathroom. Rather than clean, I found myself in front of my computer starting our blog.
Most of you know our story but I'll get everyone up to speed. Chad and I met in the spring of 2002, eventually started dating, married after somewhat of a long distance relationship in May of 2005. We started off in Durham, NC where we added a perfect yellow lab, Bailey, in April of 2006. We bought a perfect little house in Chapel Hill, NC in January 2007, did some major renovations, and then sold it and moved to Mt Pleasant, SC in July of 2007 for a wonderful job opportunity for Chad. Three short days after moving to Mt. Pleasant, SC we found out that we would soon be welcoming a new addition to our family. Payton Moses Webb joined our family on March 25th, 2008....just in time to see UNC lose to Kansas in the Final Four. He is now six months old and has moved on to learning all about football. He has enjoyed watching the Heels football team move to 3-1 for the season, the LA Dodgers clinch the NL West Division Championship, and the Washington Redskins get off to a good start. He is, of course, anxiously awaiting the 2008-2009 UNC Basketball season!! It may seem like we are brainwashing him....we are not....he can make all his own sports decisions....we are just showing him the most likely choices! There is also a chance he may take after his mother and have missed the athletic gene!
Chad works for Shire Pharmaceuticals as a Regional Director and I am a pediatric nurse - currently working at MUSC and for the Charleston County School District as a school nurse. Payton spends his days with his friend Ella and their daytime caregiver Miss Cindyrella. We could not have asked for a better person to trust with the care of our child.
I hope to provide several updates each week about Payton and his progress. I hope to post pictures frequently as well. Using this blog will allow you to check on our family as often as you like and it will allow me an opportunity to keep up with all of Payton's progress....I haven't been the best with his baby book. We hope this will be a wonderful outlet for our family and friends to share in our lives (from a distance unfortunately). Please post any comments you would like. We would love to hear from many of you!

I like your new blog since I don't see Payton as often as I would like pictures will be the next best thing!
Loved the pictures. Really hope you all enjoy your bike rides. Hopefully Bailey will get to go on some of the outings. Payton is a precious little boy. Hugs and kisses to all of you.
Meme, Calyn and Carson loved all the pictures. We wish Payton was here with us. We love you all!
