Saturday was a beautiful day in Mt. Pleasant. We started our day by meeting Andrew and Laura to watch the Heels beat Miami early Saturday afternoon. At the restaurant, a nice lady came over to tell us that Payton was the best baby she had ever seen. He had sat at the table with us for nearly 3 hours without making a peep. I think he was just extremely interested in the game!!
After the game, we headed out to look for a trailer for Chad's bicycle so we could take Payton for a ride. We quickly found one and within an hour Payton was ready for his first bike ride. We rode all over our neighborhood and even found a few places we didn't know were there. We were a little nervous pulling him at first but it was a huge success. We stayed out nearly 40 minutes. Payton babbled the entire time and seemed to enjoy his ride. He looked like such a big boy riding through the neighborhood. We had such a great time that we decided to go for a second ride today. We hope to get lots of use out of the "bee" as the weather cools and the humidity lets up a little this fall.
