I made the difficult decision to return to work when Payton was a little over 4 months old. It was truly one of the more difficult decisions of my life but I think I made the right decision! Yes, there are days I would rather stay home and play with Payton but I also enjoy the challenges of the pediatric nursing world. I feel more confident in my decision to return to work thanks to Cindy, the wonderful lady who takes care of Payton 4 days each week. God put me in the right place when Payton and I took part in an infant massage class. In the infant massage class I met another wonderful mom, Lindsey, and her baby girl Ella. After talking, we both realized our childcare situation (or lack of one!!) and decided to try to work together to find a nanny to share. Thanks to Lindsey, we found Cindy, aka Cindyrella. Out of this situation, Chad and I have found two new friends in Matt and Lindsey. Payton has found his first girlfriend, Ella. They do love each other....in the form of shreaks, squeals, slobbers, crys, and unmentionables. They spend two days at our house with Bailey and two days at the Ballengers' with Gracie. They get plenty of dog kisses! Cindy makes each day easier for me because I know that while I am away at work, caring for other children, a trustworthy person is taking care of my own child. He smiles when she sings, laughs when she dances, and jumps when she lets him!! Thank you Miss Cindy for all that you do! We are so happy you are part of our family!
