Halloween was a big hit this year! Payton was very excited about dressing up as Buzz Lightyear and he really enjoyed all the fun that took place for nearly a week surrounding Halloween. Here are a few fun shots leading up to the big day.

On Friday, Payton had a Halloween party at school. As always, school parties are a bit chaotic with all the kids running around but Payton had a blast. His friend Aedyn was dressed just like him as Buzz.

My Nannie Helen may have rolled over in her grave at the thought of her great-grandson "making" pre-packaged, pre-cut, pre-stamped Halloween cookies with her grand-daughter....the only grand-daughter who knows her famous cookie recipe at that. To most people, I can use the excuse of being a working mom and not having time to make real cookies....but my Nannie Helen would be the last person I could ever complain to about lack of time...after all, she worked all day every day and if memory serves me correctly she NEVER complained...but at the same time, of all people, she would understand. I guess my guilt has gotten me off track....there's always Christmas cookies, right?!?
Owen practiced rolling over while we baked cookies and carved our pumpkin.
Daddy is the expert at cleaning out a pumpkin and preparing it to be a jack-o-lantern.

Ha what a surprise. UNC. One of the blogs I follow. Those people are Clemson fans. You can follow them at www.austinandowen.blogspot.com. Oh and they have also a son named Owen only their Owen is one month older than your Owen. The couples names are Ryan and Jennifer and they have two sweet boys Austin and Owen birthdays are October and May their ages are 2 and 8 months Austin was born on October 15 2008 and Owen was born on May 4 2010.
