Following the UNC basketball game on Friday night, we headed to Wake Forest, NC to spend some time with Chad and Aubrey Smith. Unfortunately, Chad and Aubrey are Virginia Tech fans...but still good people and great friends! We took a limo bus with a large group of Virginia Tech and UNC fans from their house in Wake Forest to the game on Saturday. We had babysitters for the kids...and I must admit, I felt VERY guilty leaving Payton behind as we headed to Chapel Hill for a football game....but it was great to have a little adult time with our friends and enjoy the game!
It was a beautiful day in Chapel Hill (as usual!) and we had a great time tailgating.

We had a great time and we are already looking forward to our Virgina Tech/UNC tailgating adventure in 2 years! Thanks to Chad and Aubrey for being wonderful host....somehow, I have NO pictures with you guys over the weekend! We had a great time and we only wish we could do it more often. Payton is still talking about "Uncle Chad" and "blue 42!"
