Payton played flag football for the 1st time in the winter. He had so much fun that we decided to give it another shot this summer. The YMCA and NFL have partnered to offer this summer season. He is a Falcon and has a "real" Falcon's jersey. His first game day was more of a practice and he enjoyed meeting his coach, Eric and playing with his friends. Two friends from school, Aeydn and Brooks are also on his team....which could be trouble! His coach is intense and expects a lot out of a young group of boys. Payton picked right up and made a few impressive catches during his 1st practice.

I love that he catches the ball and has time to look back at the crowd to make sure we all saw his catch....yes, buddy, we all saw it!
We missed his 2nd game because we were out of town. Grandma and Grandpa took him to the game. He plays on Sunday afternoons....just like the real deal...we'll be enjoying a few more games this season. Hopefully I'll be able to share a few more catches with you!
