Last Thursday, Payton's kindergarten class took a field trip to the circus in Greensboro. His teacher invited all who wanted to attend. Payton was so excited to have Meme, Mommy, Owen and Sawyer join him at the circus. He talked about the circus for weeks! Payton and Owen were most excited about seeing the clowns juggle. Payton was also excited about the actual circus tent and was a little disappointed when he realized it was inside the coliseum.

This was one of their favorite parts - motorcycles, 8 of them, rode around inside the metal ball. It was pretty impressive.
I was a little disappointed - when I was younger, we went to the circus in Charlotte every year. It was always a special treat. I loved it! The clowns used to pile into a little car - 12 clowns in one car and one segment was completely focused on the clowns and how many were in the car. They still had clowns but they didn't have as much to do in the show. They did juggle which made Owen happy!
We had a great day at the circus. No matter how old you are, the circus is always entertaining and pretty impressive! Chad has never been to the circus...maybe he can join us next year!
