Disney Day #4 Hollywood Studios

We really enjoyed our day in Hollywood Studios.  The other parks were great - and Payton loved all of them - but Hollywood Studios was jam packed full of all the characters that Payton loves.  Of course, we enjoyed the Toy Story characters and the newly renovated Toy Story Mania ride.  Both the ride and the waiting area to see Buzz and Woody were very well planned and extremely kid friendly.  They were both made to feel as if you were on the movie set or actually in Andy's room.  Here are a few glimpses from our wonderful day...and sadly, our last day (for now!) in the Disney World parks.

The Claw! The Claw!
(This is simply a cardboard cutout that Chad and Payton are kneeling behind...too funny!!)

Meeting Buzz again

Payton with Buzz and Woody in "Andy's Room!"

The family - minus Owen - he was snoozing in the car seat.

Payton enjoying the slide in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground...what an awesome spot for kids!  Payton loved it!

Lightning McQueen and Tow-Mater!  Ca-Chow, Ca-Chow!  Hollywood Studios will be adding an area just devoted to the Cars movies once Cars 2 is released next year.

We were able to enjoy a "live" show of Playhouse Disney.  Payton was able to see all the Disney Characters on the stage and enjoyed singing and dancing along with the toddler filled audience.
"Oh Too-dles!"
After the show, he was happy to meet Handy Manny.

Waiting for the last parade of our trip.  The parade at Hollywood Studios was by far the most entertaining and the best of all the other parades we saw.  The characters were all interacting and dancing...on a very hot day!

The Green Army Men talked and danced for the entire parade!  Can't imagine being so sweaty....while covered in green paint...yuck!

Flick stopped right in front of us.

Payton was able to go out with the characters from A Bugs Life and dance and jump up and down.

It was a little bitter sweet to leave the park for the last day - knowing that our 1st Disney vacation was coming to a close.  I must say again that our trip could not have been more perfect or gone any better.  I could have never dreamed that a trip of this magnitude would have been so much fun with a 2 1/2 year old and a 10 week old...but it was...and I'm so thankful we were all able to enjoy these memories.  For now, I can say that Disney is truly the happiest place on earth!  I have some of the greatest memories from this trip that I know will last a lifetime.

I can't wait to return again in a few years so that we can witness the same joy and excitement with Owen.   Thanks for a wonderful family vacation Mr. Disney!
