....who also has a hard working hubby who is away for the night :( I have to say a HUGE Thank You to Chad who has been extra helpful the first few days of me returning to work. Prior to working with TWO boys, I could manage the working and traveling hubby but I have quickly realized that it is a completely different story with TWO boys and traveling hubby. I try not to say "I can't" and I'm trying really really really hard to be like my Nannie Helen and my Dad and not complain....but man, this is tough! I grew up with a Dad who always proclaimed "I get to go to work today!" Unfortunately, after working my 3rd full day as a working momma of 2 I'm already saying "I can't" and wondering how long I can actually manage this chaos! Here is a sample of my day.
Sunday night - stayed up too late watching the Redskins vs. Cowboys (what else would you expect from this household?!?!)
2:30 am - Owen fussy, into bed with Mommy....he goes back to sleep against my body but its very difficult to sleep while trying not to smother my baby
4:30 am - Payton awake, went Pull-up, had to potty, also into bed with Mommy and Daddy
5:45 am - alarm went off (and I was sleeping late because Chad was home to help)
6:00 am - Feeding Owen
6:45 am - Shower
7:40 am - leaving for work, hoped to leave at 7:30
8:20 am - arrived at work!
12:30 pm - my slow day at work suddenly got very busy!
3:30 - 4:30 pm - weekly CF meeting that I am in charge of, ran late
5:00 pm - rushing out the door - already a full to-do list for tomorrow
5:00 - 5:45 - TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC
6:02 pm - Leaving Daycare with Payton and Owen
6:30 pm - realized the Oil Light was on in my car, call to Chad (Really, for 12 weeks....no problems with the car - 3 days of work and one night with Chad away and I need oil immediately....not funny!)
7:20 pm - oil purchased and added to car thanks to Advance Auto Parts
7:30 pm - Chick Fil A for Payton (not the original plan for dinner)
7:50 pm - time to get Payton upstairs to get PJs on....Owen starts SCREAMING - time to feed Owen
7:50 - 8:20 - attempt to "get" Payton ready for bed while feeding Owen....what a joke!
9:15 pm - Payton is finally asleep, only got out of bed once
9:15 - 10:20 - preparing for tomorrow - breakfast for Payton, bottles for Owen, lunch for myself, diapers, wipes, cleaning up from dinner
10:20 - sitting down! EXHAUSTED and wondering how I will continue you this for the rest of the week, month, year...............
What a day...honestly, this one went really well! Payton did not have a tantrum for me which is rare! He was a good boy for me today!
Still to do - fold about 5 loads of laundry, do about 3 loads of laundry, update blog with pictures, mail Aunt Chandra's very late bday present, mail Addie's very late bday present, mail Luke's very very very late bday present, update stuff for work, talk to my family and friends on the phone, get my oil changed, get my tires changed, Owen's 3 month pictures, mail Aunt Chandra a picture of Owen for her classroom, pack for our weekend beach trip, I would like a pedicure, Pump, Pump, Pump, Pump, PUMP! The to-do-list will continue to grow and grow and grow. I have NO idea how it will ever be completed!!
Please pray for me to continue to be a good momma, a good wife, a good nurse who is organized and on time for work (ha ha!) and to keep my sanity while doing so...oh, and please pray that I remember to feed Bailey and let her out when to potty when needed!

I'm sure you are doing great...but that schedule is crazy. I've got you on my mind....we're enjoying our last bit of quiet just the two of us time because I know my life will be getting "mommy busy" soon! Keep your chin up, you're a great mom! Love you!
You will make it! Every good mom I am sure feels like you! Be glad Chad is there some because George was never there he was always working two jobs! Just remember they are only little for a very short time so enjoy your time and all the little things will work out. Love to a great mom!
