One more look....

....at my two incredibly sweet boys!  These pictures were among the previous post - but, they are two of my favorites and I felt like they needed a little more attention!

"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."

Payton's baseball from the Red Sox game.
This pictures speaks volumes - this is exactly who Payton is!  If I had to choose one picture to depict his personality - and his current stage in life - this would be it!  He still loves all sports and 99% of the time he wants to be outside playing.  Most 3 year olds wouldn't sit though a major league game - but Payton watched most of the game, LOVED it, and is still talking about it - one month later.  If he had to pick the "greatest moment of his little life" up to this point, this just might be it!

Owen loves the Red Sox gear!
Like the picture above of Payton, this one sums Owen up too!  Smiling, rosy red cheeks and wispy hair in his face!  He is such a happy boy - unless you make him mad!

Once we got past the crying on the airplane, subway, and train (all confined, hot spaces!), Owen was a joy to have on vacation.  We have always been on the go - and I am thankful that God gave me two kids who are willing and able to go as much as we do!  Owen seemed to enjoy every day of the trip.  In the Red Sox store, he immediately spotted a kids bat and ball.  He carried it through the entire store and I had wanted to buy it for him.  Unfortunately, he dropped it somewhere on the way to checkout and it never made it into our bag.  Since returning from our trip, he has even more interest in sports and all things rounds.  It is so funny to me because he is turning into a Payton Jr. in this category - maybe even more into sports than Payton!  His newest word "bat ball" - for baseball.  He says it exactly how Payton said it at his age.  It is precious...and quickly made me remember why this age is one of my favorites!  Sweet and loving before hitting the terrible two's!
