In my earlier post, I mentioned that Payton and Owen traveled back to NC with Chad's sister on Tuesday....we didn't get there until Thursday. This left us kid free for two nights....although, we both had meetings and work...so, despite eating out without goldfish and craisins and having a quiet house at night...it didn't seem too much different around here! We both took Thursday off as well and headed up to NC to spend a long weekend with family. Those are always the best!!
On Thursday night, we saw most of Chad's family. His Mom had everyone over for a family dinner. BBQ of course! I didn't get too many pictures (what!?!?) but I did snap a few pictures of Owen playing with his great aunt Deana. We enjoyed seeing everyone - Mawmaw, aunts, uncles and cousins - for a few hours!

On Friday, we dyed eggs with the boys.

Some of our eggs were baseball, soccer ball, tennis ball, basketball, volleyball and football eggs.
Payton was a little more excited about the eggs than Owen. Owen snuck away to play while finished most of the eggs with Payton. He was so proud of the finished product!
Later in the day, Chad's cousin Bradley came over with Addie. The boys had a blast playing with Addie...and, I think she had fun too! They dressed up like spiderman, played with bubbles and had an easter egg hunt. It was a great afternoon!
