Day 2 of training is complete....I should have run 3 miles on Wednesday but with all the celebrations for the 4th, I couldn't seem to work it in to the day. I did go to the gym for weights for 45 minutes...that counts, right?
I officially finished day 2 today....3 more miles under my belt. I am in no way bragging about my time but I would like to keep a record to see how I improve over the weeks. I ran my 1st mile in 11:07. I completed my 3 miles in 35:28. I walked 3 times - each time for about 45 seconds, never more than a minute.
I lost at least 1 gallon of fluids with sweat....cause it is HOT out there.
Now, off for a day at the beach. We've got friends in town for the weekend and we're going to live like we're on vacation for the next two days. Did I mention how much I love living 10 minutes from the beach?
My next run will be 4 miles - either Saturday or Sunday - please keep me in check and ask me how its going.
