Our NC Visit

Yes, these are super late....better late than never...right??

We traveled to Sherrills Ford, NC to spend time with my family - minus Daddy who was in Boston for work - from July 19th - 22nd.

Payton had already spent a few days with Grandma and Grandpa and had enjoyed visiting with everyone at Noah's birthday party on Saturday afternoon.  We were happy to join him on Monday night.

We had a great time visiting with my family and showing off the newest member of the family!

My little cousin Connor, age 8, was very happy to meet Owen.  Payton LOVES Connor and by looking at Connor's face while he is holding Owen it is easy to see why.  Connor's little brother, Noah is already 5.  Looks like Connor would have enjoyed having another little sibling....only kidding Brett and Terra :)

Their Daddy, my big cousin Brett....not so much!  He froze like a statue while holding him....although he does look pretty natural in the photo.  He said he had never held anything that small....Connor was only 5 pounds at birth! 

 Great Aunt Moe....Great in many ways!  Uncle Alf and Cole escaped my camera somehow...I think they were busy playing with Payton. 

On Wednesday morning, we headed over to visit with my godmother, Cherie.  She watches her grandchildren - Maddie and Matthew - during the day so we got to visit with them as well.

 Wednesday afternoon we headed over to my Grandpa's house for him to meet Owen.  I was so happy to get there while he was feeling good and have some time with him.  He loves to visit with Payton and I know he was so happy to meet Owen.  Payton was a bit of a handful when we arrived but he pulled it together and we had a great visit.

**Owen turned 5 weeks old today**

We also made a trip to Mom's florist to show Owen off but I did not get any pictures of the trip.

We headed to East Bend on Thursday.
