You'll be my honey bee!

After learning that my Papaw Joe had passed away, we headed to North Carolina for the rest of the week.  It was a tough week...but, just a my grandpa would have wanted we carried on the best we could.  With two little kids, you are forced to do so anyway!
Spending the week at Grandma and Grandpa's gave everyone a chance to enjoy some time outdoors.  Bailey was perfectly happy with that!
So were the honey bees!  They were so happy, they let Payton visit with them for a little!
This is one of my dad's hives....in his Carolina Blue bee boxes.

Eddie White and his beloved honey bees - making the "world famous" Home Grown Honey!

Grandpa enjoys teaching Payton all about his bees.  He is carefully placing one honey bee in his hand!
 He is so proud!
There will be no "smooching up my baby bumble bee" on this day!
(Did anyone else LOVE that song when they were a kid?  I did.)

Grandpa and 2 of his most prized possessions!

We also took a little time to recognize Easter and the Easter bunny.

Peter Cottontail made his way to Grandma and Grandpa's to find the boys too!
They were both pretty happy with the treats in their baskets!
 Puzzles!
 Books!
 New plate and bowl.
 Snacks!
 Cars!

 A ball!
 A bathing suit!

And lots of fun plastic grass.....that Owen was very excited to spread every where!
Who me?
