The month of May has been a great one. We're getting back into our routine of working hard during the day and playing hard when we get home. I LOVE the fact that we are all home, as a family, by 6 o'clock most days. We've been hitting up the great outdoors as much as possible! Long walks, playing baseball, soccer, basketball and golf outside with the boys, gardening, and late afternoons (that turn into evenings) at the pool.....it is for sure my favorite time of the year!
Here is a quick glimpse of what we've been up to in the past few weeks....
Happy Nurse's Week!
My Mom and Dad sent me beautiful flowers for Nurse's week! Such a nice surprise!
On Saturday, May 14th we headed out to Sullivan's Island for the Great Strides Walk.
This years walk was a great success. The Charleston walk raised over $120,000 and I have to say a HUGE thanks to all of you who supported me...I raised $480!!
Payton and Owen enjoying the walk....for the first part...Payton cried for most of the second part of the walk because he wanted to walk on his own.
Andrew, Laura and Charlie joined us for the walk as well. A group shot of the 3 growing boys!
We've been doing LOTS of yard work (with a separate post to come soon!) and doing a little gardening.
I'm so happy with my small vegetable container garden. We're going to have tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers and zucchini!
The boys have been playing outside...and playing together!
This is only the start of a great summer!
