For the weekend surrounding Mother's Day, my parents traveled down to visit with us, celebrate Mother's Day, and help us out in our current yard project (more on that to come later!).
They arrived late Thursday night and we spent most of the day Friday around the house...the rain "rained on my parade" and delayed me a little! First thing Saturday morning, we got to work in the yard - my Dad, Chad and myself. Mom helped out indoors....and in and out, in and out, in and out, with the kids! We worked ALL day long working in the yard, trying to improve our grass. We made multiple trips to Lowes and the local ACE Hardware to get new plants for the yard and planters as well.
In the midst of the busy day, we took a little time to make a few sweet Mother's Day presents.
On Sunday, I could barely walk (seriously!) but we took the time to celebrate Mother's Day - it was so nice to have my Mom here to celebrate the day with me! Having my Mom here to celebrate with my family made the day complete.

We hope all of the special "Mom's" in our life had a great Mother's Day as well! So many of you have molded us and made us into the people - the couple, the parents, and the Mom I am today! Thank you! We hope you enjoyed your special day!
