Dearest blog -
Oh why, oh why are you near the end of my to-do-list? The only thing lower than you (at this moment) is taking down the "Happy Birthday" decoration that has been on our mantle since March....yes, March, but we celebrate lots of birthdays around here....and just when I get ready to take it down I realize, another birthday is fast approaching! Poor blog, I hate that you have fallen so far down on the list. You are about the only baby book my sweet boys have, so, when you are not up-to-date their record book is also lacking important information. For example - Owen now has about 10 teeth. I don't have a clue when I last updated his teeth count. So one day, he is going to want to know what day his 7th baby tooth popped through.....and, I'm ashamed to say I will not be able to answer. Poor second child - Payton's 7th poop was documented, Owen can't even get a tooth count! In addition to teeth, there was a day about 2 weeks ago where Owen took about 10 steps....and I thought, I better blog about this tonight so I don't forget....ummmm, forgotten! I have no clue what day that was! It was in August. It happened in the bonus room one evening. It is not documented. Good news is, I still can't really classify him as "walking" so there is hope that when he officially takes more than 5 steps and keeps on going, I will blog about that in a more timely manner. Not only are you the only baby book that I've kept track of, I kinda like to keep you up-to-date with all the extremely important information like steps, teeth, poops, kids smiles, more kid smiles, family vacations, etc. because honestly, I know you care....deep down, you care....sometimes, my co-workers don't care about all of those little details but, you do care so I hate it when I'm not able to tell you all the important details of our life with our two adorable boys.
Next up on the list, a very quick run down of the month of August. Pictures will come later.....I hope :)
