Owen took his first sweet little steps back in August - I snapped a few of those 1st steps and finally have a chance to share them with you. I would not really consider this walking...this was just the "parents act like crazy elementary school cheerleaders wild with excitement" in an attempt to get him to stand up, hold his balance and move forward....just the slightest little bit. In our house, when Payton was a baby, we did this over and over and over - this simple act of a minute little step amazed us for hours, days, weeks. Poor little Owen didn't get all the attention but when we realized he could actually do it, we had the same wild with excitement, giddy like a kid on Christmas morning reaction. His wobbly little baby steps were super sweet!

...and up....balancing and stepping for a few seconds!
Yay!
And, just a few minutes after "learning to walk" he quickly progressed to climbing.
I'm not sure the dump truck was meant to carry the actual baby, but it worked for him! This kid is going to be dangerous! He is definitely a climber!
Eventually, he gave up on walking back and forth between his crazy parents and decide to scoot around the room with his toy. Probably a little more effective at teaching a baby to walk than the crazy parents anyway, but we had fun!! Baby steps!!
