Baby Webb #3
I am currently 19 weeks pregnant....19 weeks?!?! Almost halfway to having another baby to in our arms...to love, snuggle, stare at in amazement...and halfway to having another baby in our house...and in our nursery....and in our bedroom...sleeping in 2 hour segments....how amazing and how anxiety-inducing at the same time!
Did I mention that on March 25th...also known as Payton's 5th birthday....we found out that Baby Webb #3 is a.....
BOY!
It's a boy! Three boys in our house. Three BOYS! Three baseball gloves, three sets of cleats, three pairs of shin guards, three sets of golf clubs, three bat bags, three sets of jerseys, three helmets, three basketballs with three echoing dribbles. Three hundred loads of laundry. Three wild boys running and playing all day long. Three boo-boo's to clean and bandage. Three sets of tears to wipe away. Three different emotions with wins and losses. Three boys to love and cherish. Three boys to feed. Three boys to tuck in at night...with three sets of ears listening to books and bible stories, three hugs and three kisses. Three boys to raise with good manners who will eventually be good Christian husbands and fathers. Three boys....to make our lives complete!
No bows, no tutus, no dresses, no pearls....and the only cheer-weeder in this house is Mama...and, if it counts, Bailey is a girl too.
This is my third pregnancy and up to this point, it has been great.
I was very tired in my 1st trimester. I have been more tired in these past few weeks....but, only once I sit down at night. I'm not sure if this is pregnancy related or just life in general!
While my belly looks like I should be 36 weeks pregnant (keep your opinions to yourself thank you!), I have actually only gained about 5 lbs. At my appointments all my vitals have looked great. Unlike my very swollen pregnancy with Payton, no swelling yet. Blood pressure looked great. All screenings have come back with no concerns, great news!
My friend, who is a mid wife, did sneak me in for an early ultrasound around 16 weeks to determine that we are having a baby boy.
At my 16 week appointment, I had gained 3 lbs, the heart rate was 146....and it was indeed a boy!
My next appointment will be an ultrasound at MUSC near the end of the month.
Aside from my growing belly and my slightly increased tiredness, I am having no issues....but, I can tell that the heat is going to add more discomfort and that my growing belly is starting to make me breath a little deeper when going up the steps, especially over and over again while carrying a heavy toddler!
As for names, no name yet. We won't tell the name until the little guy arrives....but, unlike Payton Moses and Owen Calvin, who had names fairly quickly, we just can't seem to think of a name that we LOVE. Payton is just such a Payton and Owen is a perfect Owen.....it is hard to find a name to suit baby #3.....we'll keep thinking! If baby #3 had been a girl, her name would have been finalized within seconds....unfortunately, the girl name would sound a little funny for a boy!
