My baby boys are growing up way too fast.
My first baby, Payton, started 1st grade on Monday. He is at his new school. The correct school for our new house. I am happy with his school and based on first impressions, I love his teacher. We just started and have a long way to go for the year but I am hopeful that it will be a wonderful year for him. I am excited to watch him as he continues to learn and hope he continues to have such a love for learning new things. I have the sweetest pictures of him on his first day that I hope to post sometime soon.
My second baby, Owen, is meeting his 4K teacher tomorrow. This will be his second year at the preschool. He will be going 4 days per week. He does not like change and it takes him a while to adjust to something new - especially when he has to do it without Payton. I hope he enjoys meeting his teacher. He has picked his favorite golf outfit to wear for the big occasion. Crazy kid! I am looking forward to his year as well. Last year was a year of so many changes that I hope this year allows a way for him to settle into a routine and blossom over the next few months.
My real baby, Sawyer, is almost ONE. How is this possible? This time last year, I was just a few days away from the surprise of early labor. Sawyer will have a big year as well. He will also be going to preschool two days per week. I hope this new routine works out for all of us and I hope that a few hours away from Mommy, Meme, and Grandma each week will be a positive experience. He definitely has separation anxiety when I leave him with any new face so I hope he adjust quickly and I hope that this will help us out down the road.
It's a busy week of changes for us....in one short week I will have a 1st grader, a 4K boy and a ONE year old.
