On Friday afternoon we were able to visit with Chad's Aunt and Payton's Great Aunt, Deana, prior to heading on to East Bend. Payton and Bailey had a blast visiting and playing at her house. We were happy to meet Ilene, her black lab. Bailey and Ilene were quick friends!
Payton enjoyed playing on her porch and picking up the acorns. He helped by throwing them off the deck! He also enjoyed the fish in her fish pond!
Payton is giving Deana an acorn! Just what she needed!
Payton checks out the watermelon that Deana grew on her deck. It was a bit of a laugh to compare her small watermelon to the larger one Junior grew in East Bend. Payton had his picture made with the big one in August.

Payton loved jumping from inside to outside....over and over! He loves to be outside so this was perfect for him!

Deana wanted to get Payton's picture on the feather bed. Unfortunately, Payton did not have that in his plans! The fluffy bed seemed to scare him!
He did enjoy the antique rocking chair instead!
Our visit quickly came to an end. Meme was anxiously awaiting our arrival in East Bend! Deana tried to teach Payton to say "Meme, Spoil Me!" He never said it to Meme but she seems to know how to spoil him anyway!
Payton gave Deana a big hug as we were leaving. We had a great visit and hope to be able to visit with her again soon!
