Planes, trains and automobiles

Meme is all smiles....afterall, she does love spending time with her family!
Looks like Pawpaw might not be thinking the same thing at the moment.
Meanwhile, Calyn is wiping spit out of her hair thanks to her
sweet little cousins.  Did someone say family vacation?!?
We have just returned from our action packed, tourist filled, ten day, Webb family vacation to the Northeast.  I have SO much to say and so many fun details to share.  Memories, memories, memories!  We spent our 1st 4 days in New York City and the remaining time in Boston, with one day trip up into Maine.  I did a great job of writing a post each night while in New York....so, those will be posted more quickly (as soon as I can add a few pics and catch up on laundry!).  Unfortunately, I didn't get my post done while in Boston - we had a few late nights (including one pizza party at 12:30 am with Payton, Mommy and Daddy....not by choice, but it all worked out!).  Hopefully, by the end of this week, I will be able to capture in writing the summary of our last two weeks.   We have been busy for sure!  From SC to NC and back (with a side trip to DC for Chad) and from SC to NY, to Boston via train through Connecticut and Rhode Island, to New Hampshire and Maine via Dodge Caravan, back to Boston and back to SC via plane with a short stop in ATL.  Lots of pre-planning and lots of travel.....all worth it in the end for great family vacation!

Spending time with family is one of my most favorite activities.  Traveling is a close second.  So, traveling to new places with our family  along for the journey was top of the list for this summer.  We had a few "moments" where I found myself thinking "WHAT WERE WE THINKING?!?!?" but most of those were quickly followed by laughs, smiles, and snapshots of memories in the making.  We did have a wonderful time and I can't wait to tell you all about it!  Please check back in with us soon for all the fun details!
