*Sorry to be out of order, just trying to get back up to date with pictures...looks like I missed 2 entire months!*
We enjoyed Thanksgiving 2011 in Sherrills Ford and East Bend...of course! What's a holiday without a few more miles involved!?!
We enjoyed lunch on Thursday with my family and my Aunt and Uncle's house with just half of my Dad's side of the family - with only 2 of my cousins and only 4 of the 8 kids. We returned to Sherrills Ford on Saturday and had a big family dinner on Saturday night - both to celebrate Thanksgiving and my Dad's birthday. My Auntie gave all the kids these adorable winter hats....so cute!

Thanksgiving in East Bend
Daddy took the boys on a ride at Meme's...and while Owen is still in his PJ's I'm not certain that was even in the morning!
Yes, my kids are on a 4-wheeler and they LOVE it! If you aren't from the country, this may seem dangerous - however, if you are, it seems perfectly normal. To me, its normal....and, when they're old enough to drive or go fast I'll make them wear helmets.

Meme had all of her Christmas decorations up for Thanksgiving and Owen loved looking at her little tree.
As I said earlier, we headed back to Sherrills Ford on Saturday to celebrate Thanksgiving with my Dad's family. We had a great time and we enjoyed Oyster Stew (we all agreed we had enough turkey!). Unfortunately, I woke up sick on Sunday morning and our Thanksgiving trip was extended by 1 day...a sick day for me....but everyone else made the best of it! Owen and Payton got to help Grandma decorate the tree in their room at Grandma and Grandpa's house. This is a little more special than pictures can show because this tree is actually from my Nannie and Papaw's house and these are their ornaments - which have now been divided between me and my mom. Both the boys loved helping with this tree - there were lots of Santa's and Choo-choo's!!
Once we made it home, it was time for us to get our Christmas decorations out.....
Bailey was thrilled!!
A small sample of Owen's fall artwork
Cow, Pig, Horse, Chicken...to help him learn all the animals.
His handprint horse (at 16 1/2 months)
His Thanksgiving Handprint Turkey
While Bailey may not have been excited to see the start of Christmas, Owen was really excited and enjoyed wearing his "hat!"
