Friday is Cathy's birthday.  She loves to start her day by checking the blog for new pictures of Payton.  In honor of her birthday, here are a few new pictures.  Enjoy!

Since the start of the new year, Payton has continued to improved at using his push toys and he pushes all over the bonus room with them. 

 We have cleaned out the bonus room (again) to give him plenty of room to play.  He is surprisingly interested in playing with all of his new toys and will go from one toy to another to occupy his time.  I don't know if he has a favorite - he seems to like all of them equally for now!  He focuses more on his toys than the steps which is a nice transition!  He continues to eat like a champ!  Last weekend, I allowed Payton to att

empt to feed himself.  He would grab the spoon from me, mostly with his left hand, and put the food in his mouth. 

 It was messy but fun!  He is starting to cuddle with a lovey in his crib - it is too cute!

He was sick last week and has just finished up a course of antibiotics.  He is finally back to normal - goodbye runny nose and nasty cough!  I'm sure he'll have another cold before the winter is over.  I'm just so happy we finally have this one behind us!

Friday, Payton and I are going to join Lindsey and Ella to walk the bridge.  Unfortunately, I have let a year pass by without walking over the bridge.  I am very excited to finally accomplish this goal.  I'll let you know how it goes!  So far, I'm doing great with my resolution of healthy eating, working out, and losing weight.  

Payton and I are anxiously awaiting Chad's return from Dallas.  We can't wait to see him Friday afternoon.  We are looking forward to a sports filled weekend - Panthers and Heels.  Hopefully we can squeeze in a little R&R!
