Prayers!!

We should all pray for our friends and loved ones daily...however, I hope I can slow down with the specific prayer requests soon!

Thursday was a very scary day for me.  My Dad called me as I was heading to work to let me know that my Mom had passed out while getting ready for the day and had to be taken to the emergency room.  It was a call I was not prepared for!  I have never had to deal with a serious medical situation with either of my parents...and hope it doesn't happen again for a very long time!  Luckily, the EKG and CT Scan did not pick up any problems.  Unfortunately, this means she did not get a good answer as to why she completely blacked out, fell, and hit her head.  She is doing okay.  She is a little sore from the fall.  We are very concerned and hope that her primary doctor can point her in the right direction to find an answer.  Please keep her in your prayers - specifically that she will have no more of these episodes but also pray that she is referred to a good doctor who can determine the problem.

Please continue to pray for my Grandpa Joe.  His health is constantly wavering.  He has had trouble again over the last week and was also diagnosed with diabetes.  He is struggling to understand his new dietary guidelines.  Keep this new situation in your prayers!

Chad's great-aunt Evelyn Miller has been having some respiratory problems as well.  Please pray that she is able to get a true diagnosis to help with her shortness of breath.

I previously asked for prayers for Lib Campbell.  She has had a second surgery, has moved out of the ICU and was able to sit up today!  Prayer works!

Eli is doing great.  He had a round of outpatient chemo this week but is starting to act a little more like himself each day!

Luke Sigmon is still in the PICU in Boston.  My heart aches for the entire Sigmon family!  Luke is sedated to give his heart time to rest.  I just can't imagine how hard it must be to see their little boy, grandson, nephew, etc. in this situation.  Their strength and faith has been such an inspiration throughout this time.  Luke has so many people who care for him and pray for him!  He is such a precious little boy!  I hope Wesley, Lyndsi, baby Luke and their family can maintain their strength!

Last prayer request is for my cousin Leslie and her children, Moses and Rachel.  You may remember that her husband, Steve, was tragically killed over Memorial Day weekend.  Steve had an older daughter, Cori, as well.  I hate that I am so far away from her because I just can't seem to find a way to help her!  This has been weighing heavy on my heart.  She is so strong and seems to be doing so well...but she is a Lineberger, a Sigmon, and a White....we usually don't ask for help and are a little stubborn!  I just continue to try to think of some way to help her especially as the holidays start to approach.  It kills me to put myself in the same situation.  There is a fundraiser in Sherrills Ford for her tomorrow.  I pray this will be a great source of help to her!  She is now a single mom and having to work two jobs while trying to take care of Moses and Rachel.  Please keep all of them in your prayers.

Prayers! Prayers! Prayers!
