Cake and Ice Cream!!

Payton was very excited about his Curious George birthday party.  For two weeks leading up to his birthday he repeatedly said that George was coming to his birthday party.  Yes, Pawpaw George would be there too but he really meant George, the monkey.  Chad had found the huge George balloon for him and that made it even more exciting!

He loves sports but second to sports he loves George and Elmo.
Too many presents!!
A very cute Curious George cake for Payton's 2nd birthday.  The banana on top came off the cake just for Payton.

Such a cute cake....but such a funny little boy...he barely ate any of his icing and did not eat any cake.  Apparently, he has learned to like the icing on top of cupcakes but isn't quite ready for cake just yet!

Time for presents!!
Aunt Gail bought Payton this ADORABLE Carolina chair - complete with a cup holder and recliner!  He loved it!  He immediately spotted the cup holder and said "Mommy! Get my juice!"
Just relaxing before opening the rest of his presents.
Sunglasses and beach toys!  When Payton wears his sunglasses, he says "I'm a cool dude!"
Mommy and Daddy bought Payton a real Junior Golf Club set - for ages 2- 5.  We are definitely starting him early!  I know the clubs may be dangerous but we will only use them under special circumstances - far away from any breakables or vehicles!  They were just too cute and he was super excited!
Perfect size!  Where's the golf cart?  He's ready for 18 holes.
Brandon showing Payton how to swing his real golf clubs.

Payton also got his first baseball glove.  Pawpaw showed him how to get the glove on and gave some of his first coaching words of wisdom...there will be plenty more to come!
Brandon threw Payton a few passes and he finally caught one!  We've got lots of nights at the ball field in our future!
Payton shared some of his toys and his George hat with Addie!  She had been such a good girl for the party and she wanted to play too!
