Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!
We especially want to wish our Mother's - Debbie and Cathy - a very Happy Mother's Day.  We would also like to wish the other special ladies in our lives a very happy day - Sisters, Aunt, Godmothers, and Grandmothers!  You have all shaped our lives in so many ways!  We love you and are very thankful for each of you!

It is hard to believe that this is the 3rd time that I've been able to celebrate Mother's Day as a Mother!  Each year the day seems to get better and better!

Mommy and Payton - May 9th, 2010

Payton slept very late - we had to wake him up just in time to rush out the door in time to get to church.  He must have known it was Mother's Day to let us sleep late!  We rushed off to church, Payton played with friends in the nursery while we enjoyed a great service and then we headed off to lunch.  After being somewhat rudely turned away from a "nice" restaurant on one of the neighboring islands, we found ourselves at RB's.  Great food and great view!  Payton was so happy to sit on the porch and watch all the boats.  We saw SO many families out enjoying the beautiful day on their boats - complete with their labs!  I was certain one would pull up as my Mother's Day present....maybe next year!   After lunch, we headed home for Payton's nap and an afternoon of cleaning!  We enjoyed being outdoors while we cleaned both of our porches and porch furniture.

He ended it all with a big hug for Mommy!

After his nap, we spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the great outdoors!

Payton hit the ball....so hard it flew all the way across the road and landed on the grass on the other side of the street!

He hit a HOME RUN and ran all the way around the bases!

Meme and Pawpaw also arrived late on Sunday afternoon. They will be staying for half the week to help Mommy while Daddy is away for work.  Yeah!!

Meme is now officially the most up-to-date family member!  She had a brand new iPad....she may even be reading the blog with her new iPad!  I'm sure she will love reading books, her bible, recipes, showing pictures of her grandkids and playing games while she helps Mawmaw and Austin throughout the day!
