Luckily, Baby # 2 has calmed down a little and allowed me to enjoy a great weekend so far!
Eric and Amy spent Friday and Saturday night with us. I was very worried about them staying with us at first (mostly because I felt TERRIBLE on Thursday and was convinced that I was going into labor any given minute!!), but as they drove away today, I was sad to see them go! We had a great visit with them - very relaxed and low key. I felt pretty good and was thankful that it actually took my mind off the fact that this baby might still arrive 3 weeks early!
We spend a lot of time at the pool - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - and I'm happy to report that we finally have a little fish on our hands! Payton has NO fear in the water and now jumps in on his own and swims around like he was born to swim! I love it!
The approach....
and the RECOVERY!
Mr. Independent likes to do it all alone...and does not want you to "help" him so he putters around, kicking his feet, and staying afloat.

"Hoots" and "Amy Hoots" with Payton
We also had a great cookout on Saturday night with lots of friends and lots of kids! Don't worry, I took it easy and sat down a lot...and I had a midwife here just in case! Everyone had a great time!
