I am feeling MUCH better. On Thursday night, I was 90 % sure I was going into labor and everyone I spoke to who had previously gone into labor naturally had me more and more convinced that I was going into labor. Obviously, I made it through Thursday and so far, I've made it through the Memorial Day Weekend. I have been doing a good job of resting, keeping my feet elevated and leaving all the heavy lifting (of Payton) up to Chad. Luckily, Chad is a great father and this comes naturally to him anyway.
I am still having contractions - they are not nearly as strong or as close together as they were on Thursday. My feelings of nausea have mostly disappeared though I still don't have a huge appetite and have lost a few pounds (which I can't complain about!!). On top of my normal pregnancy symptoms, I have a cold with a runny nose which has caused me to loose my voice and at times have terribly sore throat and cough. I really hope the cough clears up prior to my C-section because I don't think a deep cough will go to well with a fresh abdominal incision! I also have to report that for the FIRST time in my life, I can finally say that I have experienced the joys of heartburn - which I had in the middle of the night last night, in addition to my cough, frequent trips to the bathroom, and overall feelings of being 36 + weeks pregnant and the difficulties that come along with that when trying to sleep.
Overall, I'm happy to report that it seems that Baby Webb #2 has put the brakes on for now....or is holding at 2nd and 8 for now as I explained to Payton earlier today. I'm not convinced that I'll make it 16 more days but I don't foresee any quick trips to the hospital before my doctors appointment on Wednesday...as we know, with a baby on board, any thing can change without too much notice!
We're hoping to enjoy one more relaxing day of the Memorial Day holiday with the Ballenger's and a trip to the pool! Surely Baby Webb will hang around long enough for Payton and Ella to have fun at the pool together!

This is so funny to us!! Not that you were in pain...but that I was in the hospital on Thursday! The midwife thought I was in labor too!! I had horrible pains and contractions and had to be monitored. They ended up sending me home with a pain shot where I am not having contractions off an on, just not as strong and horrible cramping/back pain! The way we are going, whenever you go into labor just call me and I will know to go ahead and head to the hospital and I'll do the same!!
