Chad and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary at Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms. My parents were fantastic to come and watch Payton for the weekend so we could celebrate our Anniversary and have one last kid free weekend before #2 arrives. At 35 1/2 weeks pregnant, it was a little different than some of our previous anniversary trips (which previously included trips to Asheville with hiking and a trip to Aruba), but it may have been the best yet! It was so nice to relax, sleep uninterrupted, and eat at a few great places without packing a bag full of goldfish! We did manage to squeeze in to "hikes" - both nice and relaxing walks on the beach that resulted in me having to hurry back to empty my bladder due to the pressure this little man causes! So romantic!!
Unfortunately, we didn't snap a single picture while we were "away" so my parents took this one for us once got back home. Exactly where 5 years has brought us.....up to 35 1/2 weeks with our growing family!
We had a GREAT anniversary - it is so fun to look back over the last five years and see all of the wonderful things we have experienced together. The weekend at Wild Dunes will be added to the list and of course Baby #2 will be a big highlight as we approach year #6! He'll be here before we know it!
