Mommy's Boys!

I always wanted a little girl....but I'm learning to love having 2 adorable little boys!  Payton can be a typical 2 year old - complete with tantrums filled with kicking, screaming, and crying - but he can also be so very sweet!  

I'm sure it is difficult to any child to adjust to life with a new baby.  Overall, Payton has done great.  He loves to talk to Owen, kiss him, rub his head, and hold him....most of the time.  He has also requested that we leave Owen at home (alone!) occasionally as well.  

 On Friday July 2nd, Payton enjoyed his day at school with a 4th of July Parade.  He was also very excited after school because he knew that Grandpa was on his way back to our house.   When we got home from school, he had a nice little meltdown.  My mom and I went on with our afternoon.  Owen had been feed and was happily ooohhhhing and cooooing in the floor.  

 Bailey is very protective of Owen. 

Of course, my mom and I were snapping pictures of him and we asked if we could take Payton's picture...."NO!" was his response.  So, we put our cameras away and let Payton continue with his tantrum.  About 5 minutes later, the sweet little boy came back out of him and he joined Owen in the floor - without being asked.  It was so sweet!

Mommy's boys are just too SWEET!   Their is no doubt that one day they will be best friends....who knows when that will be though!

Eventually, Payton got comfortable and settled in to watch Toy Story.  He laid with Owen for at least 30 minutes.  I think I'll have lots of these moments in my future!
