On Christmas morning, we woke up at the lake house (see my Christmas eve post to catch up on the foul smelling water situation...and just imagine a horrible scent as you look through these photos!).
Back on track...on Christmas morning the boys were excited to see if Santa had found them at the lake house. We were all amazed to see that he had found us and had left exactly what they had asked for! What a wonderful Christmas!
Owen had asked for a motorcycle that he could ride and Santa found a shiny red motorcycle for him! Santa also left a stocking full of great stuff and a Spiderman costume!
Payton had asked for a microphone on a stand, to use with his drums and again, Santa delivered! Santa also left Payton a Spiderman costume, a full stocking, a few books and football tee....I later heard Payton telling people his favorite gift was the football tee. Thanks Santa!
The boys catch a glimpse at their gifts from Santa!
Our Christmas morning Christmas tree with a few gifts from Mom and Dad.
Owen is checking out his new motorcycle!
Payton originally missed his microphone, and even said that Santa must have forgotten his microphone...luckily, we found it!
My little motor cross champ (hopefully he will never actually need this real motor cycle helmet, but Santa thought it was perfect!)
A batman ("That" man) toothbrush!
Love, love, love Payton....as you can see, Payton is much more concerned with Owen being excited over his presents. He was so sweet as he watched Owen find his presents and empty his stocking. We had to remind Payton that he had a few treats in his stocking too!
Socks! Oh boy!
The boys finally open the present from Mommy and Daddy...a 9-in-1 game table complete with air hockey, pool, ping pong, basketball, bing bag toss, etc. This was a big hit and they have loved having this new game in the bonus room. They play with it nearly every day!
As soon as they finished with their gifts, we loaded up the car and headed off to East Bend for showers and to begin family celebrations.
