Today, I chuckled when I saw the scheduled date and time of Payton's first PTA meeting.
We have know for months that my c-sections is scheduled for September 3rd at 7:30 in the morning.
I knew having a baby 2 weeks after my oldest started Kindergarten wouldn't be all that easy.
I knew that I would have a baby and our soon-to-be middle baby would be starting school the very next day...Mommy will be missing out on his first day of 3K.
As if managing the logistics of having a baby, getting kids to and from school and just surviving in general would not be enough, I learned these additional details today.
For my 7:30 c-section, I will need to arrive at the hospital at 5:30 - that's 5:30 in the morning...and, that's arrival time, not alarm clock time....as if I will sleep anyway.
So, here is the master schedule for the day.
4:00 am ish - wake up
5:30 am - arrive at hospital to check-in for c-section
6:30 am - back on the home front, my most favorite sister-in-law will be waking Payton up to get him ready for school.
6:50 am - Owen will start having a meltdown
7:05 am - The boys will be loading up to drop Payton off at school
7:30 am - birthin' baby boy #3 .... meanwhile, Payton will be walking into school
I imagine I will start puking around 9:00 am (if my past 2 c-sections are any indication)
2:40 pm - Payton is out of school
3:00 pm - Payton and Owen will meet baby brother for the 1st time
5:30 pm - Payton has flag football practice
6:30 pm - Payton's first PTA meeting
8:00 pm - Payton and Owen's bedtime...ha!
Should be a piece of cake!
Anything else?? Just shoot me a text and I'll work it in. Baby #3 better be ready to hit the ground running!
