I had been looking forward to the week of October 8th and 9th for a very long time. My cousin, Leslie, and her two children, Moses and Rachel, had plans to come visit! They live in Sherrills Ford with the majority of my Dad's family - my cousin Jeremy is the 2nd furthest away from the "compound" - he lives all the way in Huntersville! I was so excited to see them and spend time with them away from the hustle and bustle of a holiday or a family gathering. They were also visiting with one of Leslie's friends who lives in Summerville. They arrived shortly after I got home on Thursday. It took Rachel, who is 3, a few minutes to warm up. Moses, who is 4, and Payton quickly started playing and Rachel was not too far behind. We had dinner, played a little more, and then we all had to head to bed!
Our trip to the aquarium
Payton and Rachel look at the alligators!
Rachel and Moses enjoy the touch tank.

Friday, we had a great time at the SC Aquarium! With 3 kids, it was a quick trip...in and out within an hour and a half. After the aquarium we had lunch at Sticky Fingers. The 3 of them were great and Leslie and I have a chance to catch up a little. After lunch, we had a quick driving tour of Mt. Pleasant, Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms. Moses and Rachel had been to the beach on Thursday afternoon and did not want to return! I think they had too much saltwater!
Playing outside...Moses is running from Bailey!
They are pretty good kids...but it is still difficult to get all 3 of them to look at the camera at the same time!
Rachel and Moses
Payton had to take a nap once we got back home which allowed me a little time to visit with just Moses, Rachel and Leslie. They stayed at our house and played all the way through Payton's nap. We played outside a little before they had to leave.
Although it was a short visit, it was great! I hope they will come back again soon! It is great to have our family members see where we live and show them around a little.
Thanks for making the trip Leslie! We had great time and hope to see you soon!
