Big Toy

On Saturday, October 10th Lindsey and I had a very successful trip to the Mom to Mom sale....Payton has lots of Christmas presents tucked away!

After our shopping trip, the big boys headed off on the boat to do a little fishing. I hate I don't have a picture of the fish Chad caught...apparently, it was about 2 inches long and Matt actually caught the fish! Chad does have a fishing license now so he is prepared for future expeditions!!

As Matt and Chad pulled away, Lindsey and I found ourselves with two screaming children! Payton was screaming because he wanted to be on the boat and then they were both screaming because they both wanted to play with the same toys. We decided we should do something outdoors instead! They headed home to change. As I was heading out the door to go meet them, I received the phone call that Chad had accidentally carried my car keys with him. So, picture this....Chad is having fun, fishing with Matt; Payton is screaming; I'm frantically trying to find our spare set of keys (they are still in hiding) and my frustration is growing rapidly! Luckily, Lindsey came back to get us. This means moving the car seat over to her car. So, finally an hour later, we were off to play at Big Toy at the Palmetto County Islands Park in Mt. Pleasant.
Payton and Ella found their own boat...and enjoyed getting a nice ride with a little help from Lindsey!

Payton
What a pair!
Hot? This is from the water spray...not all sweat!

The playground is pretty impressive! Ella and Payton had a great time. It was SO very hot! We let them play, run, swing, slide, cool off in water, spin, and see-saw!

After the playground we headed to Chic-fil=a. I love Chic-fil-a. They are the greatest! Did you know you can trade in a kid meal toy for a small ice cream? Marvelous! I found out by another lady doing the same thing. From this day forward, no more plastic cows...only ice cream for my boy! He still likes to share with Mommy!

The kids were exhausted! Lindsey graciously took us back home and Payton took a nice long nap while I cleaned all the gently used toys I found for him at the sale. I also bought his Halloween costume.....coming up in the following post!

Actually yes we knew that trick - just ask Cousin Carson. You should know that boy knows how to get some vanilla ice cream. Payton actully knew this trick too - he just didn't know how to explain it too you! You see his Aunt Chandra allowed him to have this yummy treat this summer on our trip from Charleston to EB (when we stopped for lunch). He loved it - just like Cousin Carson.
