My boys...being boys!

It is no secret that we are a sports loving family.  We watch sports, play sports and talk about sports more than any other subject.  My boys would much rather be outside playing sports than inside doing anything else.  A perfect afternoon would include time running and playing outside.  Since this is one of our favorite things to do, I grabbed my camera a few weeks ago and caught the boys in action.  The best part is that you can see Payton and Owen's personality in each of these pictures....and, we can't forget about Chad.  If the boys are playing, you can be sure that all three are playing...Payton, Owen and Chad.  Mommy tries to jump in occasionally - Owen is still happy to play ball with Mommy, Payton knows that Daddy does a better job pitching, shooting and making a football spiral....smart kid!

Walking off the "field" after a "touchdown."
Even on a pretend field, with a pretend touchdown, it is crucial to have a real celebration...chest bump included!
Moving from football to golf...you can see his club and his ball if you look closely...which means, he made contact and hit it!  He begs Chad to let him play with his clubs!
The little guy wasn't far behind.  While Payton was scoring touchdowns, Owen was throwing frisbees....all of them.  He found 5 or 6 frisbees in our garage and threw them over and over again.  If you have a 2 year old throwing frisbees, you better take cover!

Owen is holding one of the frisbees here as he pauses to watch Payton....he looks up to him and watches every move he makes!

Happy boy!

Owen has to be quick to avoid his bigger, faster brother.  One day, the will be equal and it will be so fun to watch when the tables turn and Payton has to run from him!

Love this little boy with these rosy cheeks, green eyes and perfect little smile....could just eat him up!

Throw it Daddy!

Wait for it.....and the catch!
Even with a little interference from the little guy, the big guy was able to catch it!

Of course, if Payton gets a turn, Owen isn't far behind!  Time for Owen to catch, run and try to score!

Other than falling down, it was a success!

These boys, these brothers, the bond is SO strong right now.  I hope this is a bond that will be unbroken.  I hope this shot of them walking off the "field" can be reproduced for years and years....in all situation.  I hope they will always walk together and support each other.  So much fun to watch them with each other!

These boys, they have so much fun!  Nothing could be better than a day of sports.  So blessed to have a happy, healthy, active family.  Boys who live life to the fullest, love fiercely and laugh often!  Thanks to all of my boys, I am one spoiled Mommy and wife.
