Gatlinburg, day #2, was filled with a trip to Dollywood's Splash Country. I think the kids and the adults had a great time at the water park. Even Pawpaw managed to find a little shade to help enjoy the day! We started off in the kids play area and Calyn and Carson helped Payton learn to enjoy the water slide. Unfortunately, the water was cold and the slide was s-l-o-w so we moved on rather quickly.

The little blond was not with us but she managed to catch up with Calyn and Payton at the bottom!
The big kids and adults wanted to go try out the big rides. We helped Meme and Payton find a float and sent them on their way in the lazy river. Payton enjoyed it so much that he took a long nap with Meme.
We moved on to another pool area where Payton and I enjoyed the baby slide and water toys. We all played in the pool a little. Then, Chad, Allen and Calyn decided to slide down the tallest slide in the water park. We watched from the bottom...too scared to attempt! They all survived but it was definitely a quick drop! We had lunch and headed off to play a little more.
Pawpaw and Payton were worn out and enjoyed a nice relaxing nap in the shade.
A long nap! We eventually had to wake in up so we could leave! Splash Country was lots of fun!
