Saturday morning we went to visit Mawmaw and Deana. It took Payton a few minutes to warm up to the new environment. Like I mentioned earlier, he has been going to a phase of separation anxiety and he tends to be more fussy than ever before! It was also time for his morning nap. I was so worried he was going to fuss the whole time! Luckily, he perked up within about 10 minutes. They had a ball for him to play with so that helped a little. Then he asked for a "boggle" (milk). Luckily she had milk and a straw. He gulped down two cups! He also enjoyed a homemade cookie. Deana has perfected Mawmaw's recipe! They sure were tasty! Finally, he was ready to play!
He played ball with Mawmaw. She threw the ball to him several times and he would throw or take it back to her.
He climbed right up in the rocking chair. This rocking chair belonged to his Great Great Grandmother (right??). He enjoyed rocking in the chair!
Mawmaw gave Payton a few of his yogurt bites. He was very happy to take treats from her! She is making this face in response to Payton making it toward her!
Deana shares yogurt bites with Payton too! He's a lot like Bailey....treats work every time!

Rocking chair #2 - he sat beside Mawmaw for a few minutes. Such a big boy in this big chair!
Rocking chair #3 - Deana found this chair just for Payton. This was the rocking chair that Mawmaw and her brothers and sister used when they were little. It was just his size! He had a very interested way of climbing into the chair and getting comfortable!

Then it was time to head outside. We saw the watermelon and cantaloupe growing. We found several birds. Then we found the tractor! Payton enjoyed driving!
Future farmer? Not so sure. After a short time he was ready to get off!
After the tractor, we headed for the corn bin.
Payton was a little unsure of being in there all alone so Deana and Daddy climbed in too!

Rocking chair # 1 probably great great great grandma's (pa's)!!! I love the picture with the entire corn bin and his little head!! to cool!!! He was so cute and so good to see all of you!
