What a busy life!

Once again, we have been very busy!

We headed to Sherrills Ford to celebrate my little cousin Rachel's 3rd birthday, Father's Day, and my birthday. We arrived late Friday night but still managed to visit with Cole and Aunt Moe for a little.

Saturday we enjoyed lunch at Butcher Boy's - our favorite restaurant in Sherrills Ford. After lunch, we headed to see my best childhood friend Jen Peeler.

She had graciously agreed to squeeze us in for Payton's 2nd haircut.  She did a great job!  I wish she was closer so she could cut his hair every few weeks!  It was great to see her and catch up briefly!

Thanks Jen!

Rachel's birthday party started in the afternoon.

She is a little princess and loved her party.  Her mommy did a great job making two cakes - one pink, one purple!  It was great to see my family and all of the kids playing together.

Payton is still a little young but I know that he will be right in the middle of Rachel, Moses, Connor, Noah, Wil, and Madison at the next family function. Saturday afternoon we visited with my grandpa, Papaw Joe and Payton enjoyed playing with his train.

Saturday night we had dinner with Harold and Cherie, my godparents.

Unfortunately, I got VERY sick Saturday night and most of the day Sunday. We missed church on Sunday morning and missed seeing more of my family. Luckily, I started feeling better in the afternoon and we were able to go for a quick swim at my parents house.

Bailey got to go for a swim too...finally a water dog!

After swimming, Payton and Bailey had worked up an appetite.  They both begged grandma for treats...and won!  Grandma told Bailey to sit for her treat and Payton followed her lead!  It was too cute!

My grandpa joined us for dinner, I had a little cake, and then we had to pack up and head back to Charleston. It was great to spend a little time with everyone and to finally make it to a family birthday party...we always miss them for one reason or another!

Payton your little hair cut is so cute! I am so glad your mom had time to catch up with your pictures. I can hardly wait until tomorrow night to see you!
