The Charleston Harborfest took place June 26th - 29th. We drove over the bridge several times and walked around the battery to get a look at the Tall Ships. They were beautiful. We never made it to see the ships up close or to any of the events of the weekend.
Lindsey had invited us to come out to Sullivan's on Monday afternoon to watch the ships as they left the harbor. I am so happy that I decided to rush home from work, grab Payton, and rush out to the beach. The ships were beautiful! We had a perfect spot on the beach to watch each boat sail out to sea. We had a great time watching the boats leave and watching Payton and Ella play in the water. Payton got much more comfortable at the beach and started running into the water and back to the sand...over and over again. What a wonderful way to start our week!
