This has been a long week....I am so grateful for my Mom's help...I really don't know if I would have made it to Wednesday night without her!
My day started around 2:30 in the morning...when the strong winds woke me up. Around 2:31 the wind woke up my two sleeping angels. Around 2:32 they both climbed into my bed...and I just gave in, it wasn't worth the fight and I just wanted to sleep. I couldn't get back to sleep because I thought my house might blow in half!
At 6:00 am, I thought I felt something wet in my bed. Ah....yes, my sweet two year old who refuses to be potty trained over loaded his diaper and had wet my bed. Against my better judgement, I had to wake the boys up. That went well. At 6:50, I was still walking around with Owen attached at the hip. He finally let me put him in the shower with me. By 7:30, all was calm. My mom had gotten them settled for breakfast....and, I had to head out the door with wet hair....luckily it dried on the way to work and I was only 10 minutes late.
On the one day that I needed to get out of work a few minutes early, I worked about 10 minutes late....sick patients, it is after all my duty to care for them! I made it home in time to run in to fill up my water bottle, use the bathroom and cause a meltdown for Owen....Payton and I had to get to his t-ball meeting.
He was SO excited. He took all his gear just in case he had practice...he didn't have practice but it was so cute to see how excited he was. We met his coach who seems awesome. He will have practice once a week and a game once a week on Saturdays. They get to play on the real dirt field and that is awesome!
From t-ball, we headed straight to church. He babbled on and on about t-ball for our 20 minute drive. It was cute!
After church, we rushed home to catch the end of the UNC game...for Payton, not for me. I finished dinner right after the game ended at 9:00 and tried to get the boys to bed.
An hour later, they were finally in bed. Owen was a bit difficult.
Really, I'm just ready for bed!
Tomorrow Mom and I are going shopping for Easter outfits and a few party favors. My cousin is coming tomorrow night with her two kids....today was a good day, just tired...tomorrow is sure to be a great day!
