Another "before the bug took over" post....just hours before Payton got sick, he was able to enjoy his first t-ball practice. We are so happy that he is finally able to play spring sports as a (almost) 5 year old. This is the first time he will have practice aside from the games. It is not hard to imagine that Payton was probably the most excited kid on the field...for practice. He may not have shown it outwardly, because it was a serious business once he was there, but he had been talking about it for weeks!

Owen fell asleep on our way to practice...and slept in the car, in the shade, right beside us for the entire practice! This will never happen again!
The grandparents had made it to town in time for practice! Payton had the loudest cheering section of all!

Payton's next practice will be on Monday, on his birthday. He is so excited to have his practices and upcoming games. Afterall, he did say that baseball is his favorite sport....well, and basketball and football and tennis and golf.
