Fancy!

I told Payton we were going to a nice restaurant for dinner and that we needed him to be on his very best behavior.  He seemed to get it and agreed with us.  I was terrified about what dinner at the Grove Park in with TWO boys might actually end like.  Payton and Owen aren't bad kids...but, they are boys and they are wild.  The more I want them to behave, the more they end up acting like children who have never been punished and this is certainly not the case!  

As we were in the car, on the way, Payton turned to Owen and told him, "We're going somewhere fancy so you have to be good.  Are you going to be a good boy Owen?"  Owen responded: "No!"  Oh boy, I knew we were in for it!

I was shocked at how good these sweet little boys were!  It may have been the endless fruit for Owen or endless veggies for Payton. Or perhaps, the marshmallows in a fancy bowl for Owen or the ice cream bar for Payton (who had EIGHT cherries on top!).  Whatever it was, it worked and maybe we should take them to fancy places more often!  Although, my multiple trips back to the buffet section was a bit exhausting! Owen must have had an entire cantaloupe!

Really, I could just eat him up!

Owen LOVED his glass full of marshmallows....a meal fit for a little prince of course!

Mommy and Daddy made up for their consumption of fruits and veggies with shrimp!
