Our little Picasso

The boys do LOTS of art work at school.  Unfortunately, I am the mother who wants to save everything....yes, everything.  I know, its a crazy bad habit, but I just love it all.  I've done a MUCH better job of throwing out things when they come home....especially if they didn't appear to take too much effort.  I've also starting snapping picture of lots of things they have been making.  Here is a look at what they have been doing at school.

Payton spent an entire week studying about space.  He learned all of the planets and has a great little song he sings about them.  And, just in case you forgot, Pluto is no longer a planet and he is quick to point that out to you!

Using counting and art - you can see he correctly placed the number petals based on the number written inside the flower.  They used this during the week they were learning all about plants!

He may not be the best artist, but he is a darn good cutter!
He cut this out without assistance.  He was so proud!

Owen does art work too....lots of it!  His mother's day art project made me cry (as in have a complete break down in the parking lot of the school....not sure what came over me, but it was bad!).

Watermelon, as they learned about fruit
