The Easter bunny came to see the boys at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The boys were happy to find two HUGE bags of Craisins....some of there favorite snacks! They also got new Bible books. Mommy and Daddy picked an awesome new Bible Story book for Payton. His last one was great....but, he had basically memorized it and we wanted something that gave a little more detail about each story with questions and verses. We ended up choosing The Adventure Bible and we love it. The pictures and details within the pictures are amazing. The Adventure Bible series has more advanced Bibles based on age, devotionals, etc. We look forward to seeing both boys grow as they use this Bible. Owen got a new, basic toddler Bible Book. He has a lot of books but we wanted to get him a new book like Paytons that he could read through as well.
Check out these Craisins!

After checking out the Easter baskets, it was time to head to church. We were able to sit with my cousin Leslie, Moses and Rachel. The kids were well behaved....except for Owen. He was as good as he could be. He is a wild, active boy...and church pews for over an hour don't mix well with that. He is usually in the nursery at our church...and, one service easily reminded me why. I will say that as the preacher ended the benediction with "Amen," there was another little voice that echoed right along....shouting Amen as well (3 times I think!). That sweet little voice was Owen and the congregation got a nice little laugh over that (while Mommy covered her face in embarassment!).
I attempted a group picture with the kids...no such luck.
I did get Payton and Moses...lookin' good in their Easter outfits.
Back at Grandma's, I tried to get a few pictures of my sweet boys while we waited on Aunt Linda and Uncle Bill to arrive.
Aunt Linda and Uncle Bill came for Easter lunch. We had a great time visitng with them. The boys entertained them by playing t-ball and hunting for Easter eggs.
Sundays always end too soon! We had to load up and head back home in the afternoon. We were lucky to spend several days in NC visiting with all of our family members. For once, we saw almost all of them in one quick trip. The boys really enjoyed all of their time in NC...dying eggs, hiding eggs, playing with cousins, playing outside, visiting the farm, cookouts, church, and most of all spending time with all of their family.
