Please keep the team in your prayers as many of them travel for international missions for the first time. I know it will be an amazing, rewarding, and truly humbling experience. I hope that through Chad's experience, my life might be changed as well.
Chad doesn't say much on Facebook, but his post today brought tears to my eyes, so I want to share it here as well.
It will be an interesting week here at home as well. It's baseball season and Payton's practices officially started today. I am hopeful that Owen's practice will start next week. Next Tuesday, Payton will celebrate his birthday! We have a few birthday parties to fill our Saturdays, Breakfast with Mom at Payton's school tomorrow, and school picture day next week. While Chad is serving in La Ceiba, I feel like I'm serving on my own mission field at home. Each day, I hope I can remember that God wouldn't have sent Chad on such an important trip if he didn't think I could handle these three boys at home.
Prayers for Chad, Rusty, Nate and the rest of the team are greatly appreciated.
Prayers for Mommy at home - specifically for patience, peace and organization - are also appreciated!
Trying to learn not to pray for material things, but wouldn't it be awesome if we sold our house this week too?!
Prayers appreciated....all around. My greatest hope is that Chad is truly blessed as he blesses others....blessed to be a blessing.
