We arrived at Mawmaw's at 7:30 sharp (maybe not, but that sounds impressive with 21 month old on Christmas morning!). It always seems like a lot to go to my parents for Christmas Eve, then drive back to East Bend very late, then wake up very early, then get to Mawmaw's by 7:30...but each year it is always worth it!
It was a very nasty morning - it was freezing cold and pouring down rain! Luckily, these pictures don't show the bad weather. I really like that you can see the snow on the ground when looking out from Mawmaw's porch. It looks like we had fresh snowfall on Christmas morning. Either way, it was Christmas Day...no matter the weather outside we always have a reason to celebrate!

Last year, we added Payton to the family. This year, Chad's younger cousin Bradley added Addison Mae to the family! Mawmaw was so happy to hold her newest great-granddaughter. Addie looked adorable in her Christmas outfit!

A quick shot to the great- grandchildren...next year should be interesting! Addie will be mobile and running around like Payton was this year and we'll have another 6 month old to add to the crowd!
Just the girls...Mawmaw, Addie and Calyn
After a delicious home cooked breakfast, we opened presents and visited with family a little. Calyn and Carson are enjoying their new Christmas presents while Deana, Betsy and Cathy look on in the back!
Payton ate nothing for breakfast...even though Allen brought his honey to share...but that didn't seem to stop him! He was wild as usual! We've gone from throwing, catching, and tackling to kicking! Daddy made for a great holder.....
....and Payton made for a great kicker!
Followed by a quick "I tackle me!" by Payton.
Carson put down his new iPod touch to play a little football with Payton...who tackled who?
Chad and Payton with his most favorite Aunt, Chandra!
Looks like my second chance to get Payton's picture with Santa. He's not as scared by the mini-Santa...but still not overly excited about getting too close!
After a little bribery with Calyn and Deana he did get close enough to let Santa touch the football! Maybe next year will be better!

After breakfast, presents, and a short visit with family, we packed up and headed out into the rain so we could move on to our next stop.
